Scott Jaspers-Fayer

Principal

Scott Jaspers-Fayer began his teaching career in 2012 and spent his first two years teaching in a fly-in first nation community in Northern Ontario and in High Prairie, Alberta. Scott then joined Parkland School Division, where he taught Math at Spruce Grove Composite High School for a semester and then at Memorial Composite High School in Stony Plain for the next five years, where he taught in numerous departments including Science, Math, Physical Education, and Career and Life Management (CALM). He also held the role of Department Head and Lead Teacher for Science at Memorial. His first foray into full-time Administration was a role as Assistant Principal at Duffield School which began in the 2020-2021 school year before he joined the admin team at Woodhaven for the 2023-2024 school year.

Mr. Jaspers-Fayer earned his Bachelor of Science in Chemistry with Honours from Cape Breton University in 2011. He added his Bachelor of Education - Intermediate and Senior Divisions from the University of Toronto in 2012. He then completed his Master of Education in Leadership Studies from Memorial University of Newfoundland in 2021.
