Grades 5-9 Core Courses

Greystone is divided into five Learning Communities - LC5; LC6; LC7, LC8 & LC9.  Each learning community has four homeroom teachers.  

Blue Pod

In our Blue Pod (LC 5 & LC6) the homeroom teachers are responsible for delivering content in all four core subject areas (LA, Math, Science & Social Studies); as well as some supplementary courses.  Please see the course outlines for these subjects:

Purple & Green Pods

In our Purple Pod (LC7 & LC8) and Green Pod (LC9) we set up our classes as cohort pairs.  Each class has a homeroom teacher that delivers either Humanities Programing (Language Arts/ Social Studies) or STEM Programing (Math/Science) with a secondary teacher delivering the other two core subjects.  Please see the course outlines for these subjects:
