Music/Drama

Grades 5 & 6 Choir

- Practices primarily at lunch
- Perform at school events & other events (eg. Oil Kings game)
- Attends music festivals

House of Harmony
(Grades 5 & 6 tryout choir)

- Practice at lunch and after school as needed
- Perform at school events & fun events (ex. Oil Kings game)
- Attends music festival
- Occasionally invited to other musical events

Grades 7-9 Choir
(Must choose choir as a Language-Fine Arts option)

- Practices at lunch, Wednesday afternoon & as needed.
- Perform at school events, fun events as well. Also invited to perform at musical events.
- Attends music festival.

Travel Choir
(Must choose choir as a Language-Fine Arts Option. Open to Grades 7-9 Choir students)

2024 - Disney
2025 - Whistler/Vancouver 

- This is an optional opportunity for students in choir to perform and workshop outside of Alberta. 

One Act Play

- Must attend try-outs in December.
- Upon securing a role as an actor or stage hand, will be placed in One-Act Play Language-Fine Arts Option Term 2.
- Practice at lunch, during option & after school.
- Attends the One-Act Play Festival in Barrhead
