Grades 7-9 Supplementary Courses

In the 2025-26 school year, there is a slight change to the scheduling of these courses.

Language-Fine Arts Courses (which includes French & Music - please see those menu items for in depth course outlines) will run on Wednesdays for the entire afternoon to all Grade 7-9 students (mixed grade groupings).  This course is divided into two terms: Term 1 running from mid-September until the end of January & Term 2 running from February until mid/late-June.  There will be 2 separate courses throughout the afternoon:  Block 1 Lang-Fine Arts 1:45-2:45; Block 2 Lang-Fine Arts 2:45-3:45.

Career & Technology Foundations Courses will be divided into four terms: Term 1 running from mid-September until early-November; Term 2 running from mid-November until end of January; Term 3 running from February until mid-April; & Term 4 running from mid/late-April until mid/late-June.

Grade 7 Students will choose one course per term and will access their CTF programming on Tuesday afternoons from 2:25-3:45 PM.  Grade 8 & 9 Students (mixed grade groupings) will choose one course per term and will access their CTF programming on Wednesday afternoons from 2:25-3:45 PM.

Many of the above mentioned courses will have course fees associated with them.  Payment for these courses are required within 1 week of confirmed enrollment in order for your child to remain in these courses.  If there are issues with payment in that timeline, reach out to the office (greystone@psd.ca) to arrange a payment schedule.

Students will choose Term 1 Language-Fine Arts as well as Term 1 & 2 CTF Courses in the first 2 weeks of September, and will choose Term 2 Language-Fine Arts as well as Term 3 & 4 CTF Courses in the first two weeks of January.
