Here is our weekly update of events and information for Greystone Centennial Middle School.
Registration for 2022-2023 School Year
If you have not already done so, we need all students to confirm their registration for the upcoming school year. The deadline has now passed. It is very important to complete this process as soon as possible.

Report Cards Available
Term 2 report cards are now available through PowerSchool or by contacting the office.
Choir Music Video
Our amazing grade 7 & 8 Choir, led by Ms. Putt, has put together a video performance of the song “One Voice”. Please watch it here.
Spring League Basketball
We are excited to announce that we are running a Spring Basketball League. The league starts with a camp on May 4th. The 2022 schedule is 6 games long and culminates with playoffs at the end of May. The league is open to students currently in grade 4 in our feeder schools, and our LC 5 and LC6 students at Greystone. All games are played at Greystone.

Volunteers Needed - Friends of Greystone
Are you looking for a way to get involved in the school? The school council and foundation is currently looking for people to help with 2 positions.
- Hot Lunch Volunteers - We are looking for people to help distribute the hot lunches. This usually takes place on Fridays.
- Grant Writers - We are looking for people to help write grants that would increase the funding for projects we undertake at the school.

Purdy’s Fundraiser
Purdy’s Easter Fundraiser orders will be available for curbside pickup from 3:45-5:30 on April 12. For more information, please contact Fogsfriendsofgreystonesociety@gmail.com
Little Caesars Fundraiser
Little Caesars ordering is now open until Apr 11. Only Online orders will be accepted. The order form is for reference only. No cash payments will be accepted at the office. Delivery will be the week of April 25. Exact Date/Time TBA.
Orders are frozen so will need to be picked up the day they arrive.
The top seller will receive a free pepperoni pizza kit and the 3 runners up will receive prizes as well.

Kiwi Nurseries Fundraiser
We will be running a fundraiser in partnership with Kiwi Nurseries from April 8 - May 2. During this time, when you order items from Kiwi via their website and select Friends of Greystone School, we receive a portion of your order back. Orders can be picked up directly from Kiwi Nurseries. For more information, see the flyer that was sent home with students this week.
AHS School Immunization Update
The 2nd doses of Hepatitis B and HPV immunizations will be administered in May at Greystone for students with parental consent. For more information, please see the AHS update.
