Inferno News: February 21, 2025

Here is this week's edition of Inferno News.

New Report an Absence Form

Parkland School Division is updating every school's report with an absence page. Our preferred method for reporting student absences are to email your child's teacher and to complete this short form here. Please note that by completing this form it will automatically create an email for our greystone.absence@psd.ca so there is no need to call in or email further.

Kabul Market! NEXT WEDNESDAY

On Wednesday, February 26, during blocks 4 and 5, the halls of Greystone will come alive with the energy of a bustling market as 6M and 6N present the Kabul Market!

Students have been learning about Parvana, a young girl living in Kabul who must become the breadwinner for her family in order to survive. This experience will bring their learning to life as they recreate the vibrant atmosphere of a traditional market.

A variety of items will be available for purchase at $1 or $2, with all proceeds going toward our end-of-year field trip. Families are warmly invited to attend and support our students. Any remaining items will be available for purchase during recess on Thursday, February 27.

Thank you for your support—we hope to see you there!
